Willett 5yr Family Estate Single Barrel Straight Rye on Flickr.Via Flickr: Tasted 10/16/12. Went to dinner at Foundry in Davis Square with my friend Jory. On the liquor menu, I spotted the Willett Rye that my friend Will spoke about. Perfect opportunity to have a taste! And it certainly didn’t disappont! At 110 proof, I love the smoothness of it. This is the rare release version aged 5 years in the barrel. Woody and spicy, with so much warmth in the mouth and throat. Quite yummy… I think I like it more than the Redemption Rye. Even Ben likes this rye whiskey!
