I took a solo visit to the Stone Zoo in Stoneham, MA. A small zoo, it gave me an opportunity to finally test out my Tamron 70-300mm lens. Let the photos speak for themselves!

Second day at San Diego!
We got an early start to the day and ate breakfast at Brian’s 24. Delicious breakfast meals, and such huge portions. We shared one meal and it was perfect! Definitely doing breakfast again there this week.
Afterwards, we took Bus #7 to the San Diego Zoo. We spent six hours walking all over the place, taking hundreds of photos. So many wonderful animals. Favorites had to include: pandas, meerkats, sea otters, numerous birds… too many to remember! I have a LOT of photos to go thru!
Props to my husband for surviving the Skyfari to get us back to the zoo entrance. Scared of heights, he managed to ride the tram without panicking. Yay!
Dinner was spent at Rei Do Gado Churrascaria, a Brazilian steakhouse in the Gaslamp District. The food was delicious - our favorites were the skirt steak and the filet mignon wrapped in bacon. We left in what Ben lovingly calls a “meat coma!”
